Abstract

This dissertation aims to analyze the influence generated by the media in the judgments of the Jury Court. Learn how the procedure and composition of the institute in question works, discuss the rights and duties of the media and clarify its limits so that there are no collisions of rights, where the right of one is not hurting and harming the right of the other . The media holds great power of influence, especially when it stands for or against something. By using this great power, together with a sensationalist language and great force of propagation and reach, it can, in several ways, harm both defendants and victims, in cases of judgments that will occur by the rite of the Jury Court. Since, in this rite, the judgment is made by common people and that the public outcry influenced by the media's position, can change the opinion of the jurors about the case, thus posing a great threat to the fundamental rights of those involved and to the impartiality of the judgments of the cases.
