| Resumo: | Um recurso importante no Brasil para auxiliar aos indivíduos em seu dia a dia de
forma que possam utilizar de decisões mais convenientes aos seus objetivos financeiros, é saber
o que é educação financeira, evitando que ações tomadas de forma inadequadas, possam afetar
suas vidas financeiras, profissional e social. Esta pesquisa busca trazer sobre a importância da
educação financeira no Brasil, como ela pode contribuir com a evolução do ser humano, tanto
individual quanto como pais, exemplos de países que investem em educação financeira foram
trazidos na mesma de forma que possa ser realizado uma análise das diversas situações, como
a cultura afeta isso, o papel do tema na economia de cada região e perante cada pessoa, trazendo
a possibilidade de fazer a sociedade repensar os hábitos de consumo, trocando por outros mais
sustentáveis. Foi realizada uma pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa, de caráter exploratório e
descritivo, que utilizou de artigos similares e correlacionados ao tema. A relevância do desenvolvimento
de projetos futuros foi trazida, de forma que atinjam toda a população. Foram apontados
diversos problemas sobre o tema, embora haja incentivo do Governo, são realizadas somente
algumas ações pontuais, porém sem grandes resultados.
