O mandato missionário no pensamento do Papa Francisco na Evangelii Gaudium

Abstract

This paper presents a construction of my study on Pope Francis' thought on missionary service, with a greater focus on the Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii Gaudium, going through the beginning of the formation of this thought with the Second Vatican Council, and which calls for this construction in the evangelization of the people of God. In Argentina, the Theology of the People was created, which is based on the proposal of the Second Vatican Council for the inclusion of the people of God in the active participation of community life. The biography and formation of Jorge Mario Bergoglio is presented, the aspects of the theology of the people that influenced him and the connection of this theology with Evangelii Gaudium. The aim is to present the love of God that is communicated by the missionary proclamation, how it is manifested and driven. It explains about the Church in Outreach, as Pope Francis always says that the Shepherd must have the smell of the sheep, always be close, and that the Churches must always be welcoming and merciful, a Church for all, without distinction.
