dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this article is to analyze and describe shared custody from the point of view of the best interest of the child and adolescent. In this perspective, the joint custody institute defends the importance of the participation of both parents in the children's lives and strengthens family ties. It is noteworthy that the benefits of this good relationship involve equal rights, duties and responsibilities in relation to the protection and care in the physical, psychological and emotional development of their children. The methodology consists of studies and research in academic works, books, scientific articles. In this sense, it is necessary to analyze that shared custody will only be beneficial if there is good coexistence between the parents. KEY WORDS: Shared custod; Coexistence; Family Ties; Child.pt_BR

dc.description.resumoO objetivo deste artigo é analisar e descrever a guarda compartilhada sob o prisma do melhor interesse da criança e do adolescente. Nessa perspectiva, o instituto da guarda compartilhada defende a importância da participação de ambos os pais na vida dos filhos e fortalece os vínculos familiares. Vale ressaltar que os benefícios dessa boa relação envolvem direitos, deveres e responsabilidades iguais em relação à proteção e cuidado no desenvolvimento físico, psicológico e emocional de seus filhos. A metodologia constitui-se de estudos e pesquisas em trabalhos acadêmicos, livros, artigos científicos. Nesse sentido, se faz necessário analisar que a guarda compartilhada só será benéfica tendo uma boa convivência entre os genitores.
