Intervenção urbana: habitações para o Parque Oeste Industrial

Abstract

The work aims to develop an urban intervention in the Parque Oeste Industrial, in Goiânia (Goiás) to use the empty/underused areas of the intervention region to to provide housing for the citizens of Goiás, aiming to minimize the problem of the deficit housing in Goiania. A deep analysis was developed on the home-city relationship, the environmental impacts and social aspects of human occupation in the city, and the region of Goiânia, since its inception. THE from this analysis, the area was chosen, and then a study of its location, use soil, gauge, natural elements, and relationship with the surroundings. All these data were reflected in the creation of the masterplan and the position of the proposed dwellings. In addition to the urban layout, architectural housing projects were developed, with three typologies of plants arranged in different ways to compose three typologies of building: superimposed semi-detached house, tower and ribbon, with the possibility of expansion. THE justification for this choice is given by the understanding of the different urban centers that make up contemporary society, the profile of the inhabitants of Goiás in the housing deficit, and the different requirements of the land, depending on the surroundings, the existing buildings, the topography and the source of Córrego Buriti, present in the place.
