Segurança do paciente no atendimento pré-hospitalar durante a pandemia da Covid-19

Abstract

INTRODUCTION: Patient safety in pre-hospital care is a condition that aims and advocates the prevention of possible damage caused during the provision of patient care in the mobile medical service (CASTRO et al. ,2018), OBETIVOS: Describe the changes that there were in patient safety during a pre-hospital care in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic To identify the profile of the included studies: journals, theme, year of publication, parents of origin of the study, category and nature of the study. METHODOLOGY: This is an integrative review, one of the research methods that allows the incorporation of evidence in clinical practice (MENDES et al., 2008). For the selection of material on patient safety in pre-hospital care during the COVID-19 pandemic, articles were searched in September October 2021 in the Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Literature (LILACS) databases, in September 2021, in the Databases of Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Literature (LILACS), Virtual Library in Health/Nursing Database (VHL/BDENF) and Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (PubMed/MEDLINE), with the use of descriptors in Health Sciences (DeCS): Patient Safety AND Pre-Hospital Care AND COVID-19. RESULTS: The results presented here show that the use of PPE by the team working in the mobile emergency service enables safer care for the patient. FINAL CONSIDERATIONS: In this context, the study on Patient Safety in Pre-Hospital Care during the COVID-19 pandemic allowed us to formulate the hypothesis that although it is a very relevant topic in times of pandemic, there are still few publications on this theme. He emphasized that the use of EPI by the team that operates in the mobile emergency and emergency service, provides safer care for the patient. It also showed that with the COVID-19 pandemic it was necessary to add other types of EPIs in order to provide safer care for the patient and protection for the team.
