Atuação fonoaudiológica no diagnóstico precoce das perdas auditivas em neonatos: revisão da literatura

Abstract

Introduction: Law No. 12303/10 “Provides for the obligation to carry out the test called evoked otoacoustic emissions in children”. The early identification of deafness favors the child's overall development, as it allows for adequate sensory stimulation in a timely manner. NHS should preferably be performed in the first days of life between 24h and 48h. Objective: to analyze the speech therapy role in the early diagnosis of hearing loss in newborns. Methods: this is a qualitative and quantitative research, of the bibliographic review type and had as procedures and instruments for data collection the search for journals. Results: it is observed in relation to the type of research where 40% were in the field, in relation to the area of expertise of the authors showed that 50% articles were written by speech therapists and other professionals, with regard to the year of publication, we note that 2017 and 2020 with greater amounts of publications, in relation to the UF of the researches showed that 50% of the articles were published in the PR, in relation to the place where the researches were carried out positively demonstrates that all sectors of society are able to offer the NHS and are running the Public Policy for Testing the Little Ear at the state and municipal level, whether public, private or philanthropic, which concern the description of the speech therapy demand, pointed out that 20% articles performed, analyzed and archived the results of the NHS; 20% analyzed medical records and performed the NHS Conclusion: we were able to perceive the speech therapy role in the early diagnosis of hearing loss in newborns.
