This research aims to investigate the main barriers and opportunities faced by female entrepreneurs of micro and small businesses in Brazil. The study analyzes factors that influence the development of their businesses, considering challenges such as access to credit, gender bias and the balance between professional and personal life, as well as the opportunities that favor the growth and sustainability of these companies. The methodology used combines bibliographic research, based on articles, websites and books on the subject, and field research, with the application of questionnaires and interviews with female entrepreneurs of micro and small businesses in the first half of 2025. The study has a qualitative and quantitative approach, allowing both the analysis of individual perceptions and the identification of patterns and trends from the data collected. Exploratory research will be used to deepen knowledge about the challenges and opportunities in the context of female entrepreneurship. The results hope to provide relevant insights into the current scenario of female entrepreneurs in Brazil, contributing to the development of strategies that minimize the difficulties faced and strengthen the female presence in entrepreneurship. Furthermore, the study may serve as a basis for the formulation of public policies and private initiatives aimed at promoting gender equality in the business environment. The data collected demonstrated that, despite the adversities faced — such as balancing multiple roles, the constant need for validation, and limited access to public policies and funding — women entrepreneurs have developed their own paths to strengthen their businesses. Their approach is marked not only by investment in training and networking, but also by emotional intelligence and a strong sense of purpose. The main motivation for undertaking entrepreneurship was linked to personal and professional fulfillment, while resilience, strategic adaptation, and the pursuit of autonomy proved to be fundamental for sustaining and succeeding in their ventures.pt_BR
