dc.description.abstract | The central point of this work is the climate changes caused by human actions’ impacts, especially by the aviation, and how such changes can affect the environment, thus there is a clear relationship between aviation and the environment. It is known that the planet has undergone several climatic changes throughout its history, but one of them called the attention of scientists and researchers: the climatic change as a result of human actions. However, what is may underconsidered by society is that such changes are reversed in losses for human beings, which naturally are part of the affected environment and, more specifically, tend to generate impacts on the airline sector. There are scientific predictions that the North Atlantic jet streams will undergo major changes in wind speeds, which could change aircraft routes and the price of airline tickets. The survey also highlights that future flights will be more turbulent as a result of the increase in clear air turbulences, CATs. Furthermore, because of the rise in temperature resulting ofglobal warming, it is expected that companies will have a reduced profit, that airports need to increase their runways in order to not affect flight safety, that aircraft will suffer because of the extreme heat and, probably, will face more storms. Therefore, this works aims to alert companies and pilots about the imminent effects of the fast climate change and the impacts of aviation on the environment. It should be noted that the work is directed not only to the aeronauticalcommunity, but also to the whole of society, since it presents measures to mitigate global warming and climate change, in order to avoid problems that affect flight safety and cause even greater damage to the society | pt_BR |
