However, this theme is still neglected in conventional teaching materials, which imposes on the teacher the challenge of mediating it through complementary resources and innovative pedagogical practices. In this scenario, non-formal learning spaces emerge as privileged environments to promote immersive and sensory experiences, capable of concretizing abstract content and strengthening the cultural identity of students—a principle expressed in the chapter "Goianidade" of the DC-GO, which values ​​learning from experience and the community environment. In this sense, the present work aims to contribute to the dissemination and accessibility of the history and culture of Goiás through an immersive didactic proposal, developed in a non-formal learning space: the Cerrado Memorial. The proposed methodology seeks to overcome the shortcomings of traditional teaching materials, promoting inclusive and participatory education in which students take an active role in the construction of knowledge. By using maps, sketches, and other spatial representations in an immersive context, the activity aims not only to fulfill curricular guidelines but also to stimulate critical reflection on lived space. Therefore, this study argues that the articulation between cartography, regional culture, and non-formal spaces is key to meaningful teaching, capable of forming citizens aware of their identity and their place within the territory of Goiás.
