Thus, the narrative presents Jesus through miracles and exhortations, leading the reader to understand He is the Savior. The beginning of His ministry is marked by the proclamation of the Kingdom of God and the call to conversion. Jesus’ preaching develops a discipleship in which a person, once converted, must adhere to the message and, in turn, become a proclaimer: “You are the salt of the earth”; “You are the light of the world” (Mt 5:13-14). In this context, the family, through the sacrament of marriage, is called to witness and proclaim the Gospel by living and experiencing the Good News. The family is inserted into the dynamics of creation and redemption and therefore has a great mission in society, requiring proper aid to fulfill its social role. Faced with this mission, there are also many challenges, as the family is often attacked in various ways in attempts to hinder or obstruct its mission. In these circumstances, the family needs greater care and support. Abstract: This study reflects on the Christian meaning of death and on the pastoral and liturgical role of funeral rites in the experience of mourning. From a theological and anthropological perspective, it seeks to understand death not as an end, but as a passage and a paschal mystery in which human life is assumed and transfigured in Christ. It examines the evolution of the understanding of death from ancient civilizations to Christian faith, emphasizing burial as an expression of hope in the resurrection. The Ordo Exsequiarum and the Roman Missal are analyzed, highlighting the centrality of the Word, the Eucharist, and paschal symbols in funeral liturgy. The study also addresses contemporary pastoral challenges such as suicide, perinatal death, and closed-casket funerals, which demand listening, compassion, and ritual adaptation. It concludes that the Christian funeral is a meeting place between human grief and divine mercy, a sign of communion between the living and the dead, and a testimony of faith in the victory of life over death. In it, the Church proclaims that, in Christ, love is stronger than death, and that mourning can become a path of hope and redemption. Ecco perché abbiamo sviluppato una ricerca bibliografica e riflessiva fin dall’opera di San Tomaso, dei documenti Magisteriali tale come Veritatis Splendor, Gaudium et Spes, il Catechismo della Chiesa Catolica anche di studi di ricercatore della teologia morale contemporanea. Nel primo momento, descriveremo la struttura antropologica dell’agire umano, puntando la volontà e la libertà come principi costitutivi che permette all’uomo agire razionalmente verso il suo fine ultimo. Di seguito, analizzeremo la natura della coscienza morale, compresa come facoltà della ragione pratica, in grado di giudicare la bontà o la malvagità degli atti umani, affinché guidi l’uomo, alla luce della lege naturale ed eterna, fino alla azione morale retta. Per fino, esploriamo il processo di formazione della coscienza, caratterizzandola come un camino di raffinatezza morale e spirituale. Evidenziamo, quindi, l’importanza della formazione della coscienza per la fede, il Magistero e la vita della Chiesa. Con i resultati della ricerca, noi capiamo che l’educazione morale dell’uomo è essenziale per la piena realizzazione dell’agire umano, affinché giunga al suo fine ultimo, per dimostrare che la morale cristiana è più di un insieme di precetti, ma espressione della vocazione umana alla santità.
