    <link>https://repositorio.pucgoias.edu.br/jspui/handle/123456789/10975</link>
    <description>Título: Monitoramento de qualidade da água para bovinocultura
Abstract: The objective of this work was to develop a low-cost IoT prototype for water quality monitoring in cattle watering troughs. The proposed system employs an ESP32 microcontroller powered by solar energy, integrating sensors for turbidity, TDS, temperature, water level, and flow rate. Data are transmitted via WiFi and processed in a Node-RED supervisory interface, enabling real-time visualization and decision support for rural producers. Bench tests conducted over 24 hours demonstrated the system's effectiveness in capturing oscillations in water quality parameters, supporting the technical and economic feasibility of the solution for properties of varying sizes.

    <title>Avaliação da eficiência energética de um sistema IoT de controle adaptativo para ar-condicionado baseado em conforto térmico</title>

    <description>Título: Avaliação da eficiência energética de um sistema IoT de controle adaptativo para ar-condicionado baseado em conforto térmico
Abstract: This work presents the evolution and&#xD;
experimental validation of an IoT-based adaptive air-&#xD;
conditioning control system grounded in Fanger's thermal&#xD;
comfort model (ISO 7730). The prototype integrates&#xD;
BME280 sensors (air temperature and relative humidity)&#xD;
and an AMG8833 sensor (infrared thermal) to estimate the&#xD;
mean radiant temperature, in accordance with ISO 7726,&#xD;
aiming to overcome methodological limitations observed in&#xD;
previous studies, such as the lack of physical thermal&#xD;
radiation measurements and the limited accuracy of&#xD;
thermo-hygrometric sensors. A total of 20 field experiments&#xD;
were conducted (10 without the prototype, manual&#xD;
operation with variable setpoints, and 10 using the adaptive&#xD;
control system) in a standard office room. The achieved&#xD;
energy efficiency was ΔE = 54.33% (E_A = 46.29 kWh; E_B&#xD;
= 21.14 kWh), with a statistically significant difference (p &lt;&#xD;
0.002). The results validate the hypothesis that predictive&#xD;
control based on a thermo-physiological model can&#xD;
simultaneously provide energy savings and thermal&#xD;
comfort, while remaining consistent in order of magnitude&#xD;
with comparable studies reported in the Brazilian literature.&#xD;

    <title>Sistema de controle robótico baseado em leitura de sinais eletromiográficos</title>
    <link>https://repositorio.pucgoias.edu.br/jspui/handle/123456789/10799</link>
    <description>Título: Sistema de controle robótico baseado em leitura de sinais eletromiográficos
Abstract: This work presents the development of a control system for a robotic manipulator through surface electromyography (EMG) signals. The overall objective is to capture the electrical muscle activity of the human arm and translate it into specific robotic movement commands. The research is applied, experimental, and quantitative in nature, structured around the integration of instrumentation hardware, embedded systems, and digital processing algorithms. The theoretical framework is based on the physiology of muscle contraction, where the EMG signal represents the spatial and temporal summation of action potentials from physical movements. The methodology comprises non-invasive capture via surface electrodes, followed by analog conditioning of the tension, which employs an instrumentation sensor (AD8832) with a high common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) to mitigate noise. The filtering stage uses band-pass filters (frequencies from 10 to 500 Hz) to isolate the frequency range of the highest energy in the signal and eliminate residual movement signals. After digitization via an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) in a microcontroller, the signal is processed for feature extraction, utilizing metrics such as Root Mean Square (RMS) and Mean Absolute Value (MAV) to quantify the user’s force intent. Pattern classification associates these values with thresholds that trigger commands sent to the robotic arm via communication protocols. The results obtained demonstrate the development of a system capable of reading the EMG signal, processing it in real time, and, through threshold calculation, determining and sending the corresponding command parameters for the robot's operation.
