Abstract: This article presents the importance of mechanical design and proper planning in industrial automation. The objective is to minimize mistakes made by companies and obtain better results. The research used a qualitative and exploratory approach, using as a basis for study the Render course on detailing mechanical projects with ABNT standard. Specific aspects of the projects of an automation company were analyzed through a questionnaire, this company can make its own automation projects and at the same time provides automation services. It was concluded that errors in the execution of the project can result in manufacturing failures, requiring specific methods for their resolution. The company adopts the "Engineering-to-Order" (ETO) system and faces challenges in communication and cooperation between the design and production departments. The lack of performance indicators between planning and projects and the limitation in considering all administrative expenses affect efficiency and financial evaluation. It is essential to follow standards, improve production planning and strengthen communication between areas to improve industrial automation.

Abstract: Poultry farming in Brazil is a prominent sector with significant production of meat and eggs. Water
is an essential nutrient in the animal's development throughout all stages of poultry production. The way water is distributed, its temperature, and other factors such as humidity and ambient temperature have a direct impact on the quality of farming in the poultry house. Therefore, the objective of this work is to automate water distribution, monitor temperature and humidity in the poultry house, and obtain real-time monitoring through an application. Additionally, this work aims to collect water level data. Through the development of this system using the ESP32 board and other sensors, the project has proven to be a viable and effective solution.

Abstract: This paper describes the development of an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) with the objective of forecasting the prices of three agricultural commodities: rice, corn, and soybeans, based on historical data. Scenarios using time series containing price data of the commodities between the years 2004 and 2023 were analyzed and discussed. The developed system allows the automated analysis of future values, using recurrent neural networks and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) techniques. The effectiveness of the developed system was evaluated using datasets obtained from public repositories. The results obtained are presented and discussed in detail. The preliminary results of training and prediction demonstrated the effectiveness of the developed computational tool, highlighting the accuracy of the implemented prediction model.
